Abramson Construction is currently looking to hire both hands-on Project Managers and Field Supervisors. These are management positions. Candidates should be familiar with all phases of commercial construction. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field is required for the Project Management positions. A college degree is not required for the Field Supervisory positions, but an advanced educational background and familiarity with computers would be helpful. All candidates must have a proven track record with experience in commercial construction and be familiar with the construction market in the Washington Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities include reviewing and redlining bid plans, preparing and monitoring progress schedules, soliciting and negotiating subcontractor proposals, overseeing field operations including monitoring job progress, coordinating shop drawings and verifying quality control.

A positions are also available for a highly qualified Administrative Assistant. The position requires advanced word processing and spreadsheet skills. Familiarity with the internet is required and website development skills are a plus. Individual should be experienced with computerized bookkeeping using QuickBooks Pro. Excellent telephone skills are a must. The ideal candidate will have previous employment with a commercial construction firm and be familiar with the commercial bidding and project close-out processes and requirements.
