About the Company

Abramson Construction Corporation was founded in 1989 by Jeffrey F. Abramson to provide a unique hands-on, quality control approach to every project's development. While most firms provide a cookie cutter method to the construction process, Abramson Construction prides itself on a hands-on, quality control approach to every project's development. Mr. Abramson spent many years working for the in-house construction divisions of largest and most prestigious commercial development and construction companies in the Washington area. He opened his firm with the goal of offering the same level of service and attention to detail that he had performed in the past. Personal involvement and close field supervision assure a better project and the lowest bottom-line cost ... on-time.

Abramson Construction Corporation's expertise includes construction of office buildings and commercial tenant interiors; construction and major renovations of shopping centers; retail tenant fit-up; restaurant and food service design and implementation; and multifamily development, construction and remodeling.

Abramson Construction Corporation has provided this same hands-on approach to many specialty projects including the construction of the Lincoln Memorial visitors' food service and souvenir Kiosks; the historic renovation of the Parrish Hall (circa 1860) in Saint Margaret's Church; renovation of the food service operations at the U.S. Memorial Holocaust Museum; as well as the development and construction of Cargo Building No. 4 at Dulles International Airport.

As a member of the United States Green Building Council, Abramson Construction Corporation continues to focus its' efforts on expanding its abilities to assist current and future clients by taking an active approach to meeting the environmental needs of our community. Most recently, Abramson Construction's project at the Lincoln Memorial was awarded a certificate of environmental sustainability from the National Park Service not only for the installation of an environmentally friendly geothermal mechanical system, but also for the unique integration of this system into the operations of the food service refrigeration equipment.

Other awards include the "Finest for Family Living Award" for the construction of the Madison Park Condominiums in Bethesda, Maryland; the Apartment and Office Building Association's "TOBY" award for the renovation of both the Foxhall Square Medical Building and 118 Q Street, N.E., Washington, D.C.; and the Masonry Institute's "Masonry Design Merit Award" for the construction of the Mervis Diamond Headquarters Building in Tyson's Corner, Virginia and the Godwin Industrial Park in Manassas, Virginia.
